About the game

Troll or Gull?

Troll or Gull? is a quick sorting game on a wooden pier by the fjord. A hungry troll waits on the left, a greedy gull waits on the right, and a line of snacks keeps on coming. Rocks, pinecones and mushrooms go to the troll. Fish, ice cream and hot dogs go to the gull. Sort fast and keep the hunger meter from running empty.

How to play

On a phone, swipe left or right, or tap the left or right half of the screen.
On a computer, use the Left and Right arrow keys or A and D. M toggles sound.
Left feeds the troll: rocks, pinecones and mushrooms.
Right feeds the gull: fish, ice cream and hot dogs.
Every right answer fills up the hunger meter. A wrong snack takes a big bite out of it, and when it runs empty the game is over.

Tips

After a while new snacks join the line. Socks belong to the troll and waffles belong to the gull.
The hunger meter drains faster the longer you play, so keep up a steady rhythm.
Every 5 right answers in a row make each snack worth one more point.
Peek at the snacks waiting in line so you are ready for the next one.
